How it might look like looking at Earth from a distant point in the universe
(with lots of distortions to make the work manageable on Earth.)
Each fabric ball represents a star in a major constellation where its color, its size, and
the length of the thread it hangs from are relative to the temperature, the apparent magnitude, and
the distance from Earth, respectively, of the star it represents.
Constellation shapes were adapted from The Stars by H.A. Rey (1952)
